Legendary Hungarian guitarist Gabor Szabo split this 1970 Blue Thumb session with equally legendary soulman Bobby Womack. Though not generally recognised Womack is a superlative guitarist who earned most of his income in the 60's from session work and writing, most notably for Wilson Pickett. This album has grown in stature since 1976 when producer Tommy Li Puma revisited Womack's composition "Breezin" with George Benson and turned the song into a million seller and Benson into a superstar. Keen ears will note that the arrangements are very close.
